WEDDING ON A BUDGET.

Tips to Plan Your Wedding on a Budget without Breaking the Bank

1. Avoid guest list bloat.

Although you might be tempted to throw everyone you know on your guest list, that isn’t always a great idea. With each addition you make, you’re adding additional costs while also making your wedding less intimate.
To save as much as you can, try inviting fewer people and making the event more intimate. Start by whittling your list down by 20%, then another 20%. Then see if you’re happy with it.

2. Ask for wedding help instead of wedding gifts

Asking family and friends to offer help or services that align with their talents in lieu of a gift is a great way to keep your wedding on a budget.

3. Hold the ceremony at home, or outdoors.

Renting a building or function hall for your ceremony and reception can be very expensive. Instead, consider using your own home for your ceremony, or perhaps a public park with a beautiful view.
In each case, you can also have your reception outdoors, creating a picturesque, memorable ceremony while eliminating the cost of renting a venue.
If you go the outdoor route, however, it’s best to have a back-up plan in case of bad weather; you don’t want to get married in a downpour that leaves all your friends and family soaked. That might mean renting a sturdy tent if rain is forecast, or a few industrial fans if it’s an extremely hot day — or simply stuffing everyone inside the house to wait out a storm.

4. Do the catering yourself, or hire a Cook( Olopo/ Servers)

You can handled our own food preparation and catering with a lot of help from my  family. This drastically reduced the food costs for the ceremony.
All you need to do is get a menu list and buy all ingredients needed for the preparation of the food
Hire a Cook( Olopo) or some close family to handle the cooking this will save the cost of Hiring a full cater to handle the cooking they will almost always go the extra mile to make your wedding special and are generally more understanding of your particular budget needs.

5. Go minimal with the flowers.

Instead of spending boatloads of money on flowers that will die shortly after the reception, keep it simple but elegant — for instance, a single rose for each bridesmaid and a very small bouquet for the Bride.or go with Artificial flowers instead. It’s likely that no one will even notice, and you could save a bundle by making the arrangements yourself well ahead of time.

6. Skip the groomsmen and bridesmaid gifts.

While it’s considered customary to give gifts to your groomsmen and bridesmaids in some circles, it isn’t always necessary. Instead of buying gifts they may not even want or enjoy, consider writing them a special note to say “thanks” instead. If your friends know that you’re trying to have a frugal (Budget)wedding, they will understand.

7. Make your own invitations.

With a quality home printer and some time, you can make very classy invitations on your own you can picked up a simple blank invitation kit on sale at Staples and made our own invitations to our wedding. No pictures or anything – just a very classic font and simple text. It looked stylish and didn’t cost us much at all.
You can visit some site who also offer cheap wedding invitations you can order from the comfort of your home. Their options aren’t too fancy, but they’ll certainly do the trick. You can even hire a freelance graphic designer to whip up a custom invitation for you.

CHOSEN THE PERFECT WEDDING DRESS FOR YOUR BODY SIZE.

Chosen the perfect wedding Dress for your Body Size. * If You're Busty Look for: A dress  with a scooped neckline. It will open up your face and display your décolletage without showing too much cleavage. If you love the look of strapless gowns, choose one that has a slight dip along the neckline, like a sweetheart, rather than a style that goes straight across (which will make your bust appear even larger and more shelflike).  * If You’re Plus-Sized Look for: An Empire dress with a skirt that begins just under the bust and flows into a gradual floor-length A-line. Make sure the Empire seam does not start on the chest and that there is no pleating of the fabric, which is reminiscent of maternity wear. The dress should play up your shape; if it’s too loose, it will add pounds.   * If You’re Apple-Shaped Look for: A dress that cinches in at the smallest point on the waistline, then flares out into a gradual A ...

HOW TO DECORATE AN UGLY RECEPTION HALL.

How to Decorate an Ugly Reception Hall The first reaction you want from your guests when they walk into the reception hall is not to gasp in horror but to be surprised by its beauty. An ugly reception hall may be the right price and in a convenient location, but that doesnt make it any less unattractive. Despite having the challenge of an ugly reception hall on your hands, everything you dream it could be is possible with a drastic, but easy, transformation. Things You'll Need: Metal wire Screws Fabric Instructions Cover the walls with fabric . Take measurements first, then order the fabric from a fabric store that can measure the exact size of each piece. The fabric needs to be hung temporarily, which means you cant install a metal track. Instead, use fabric glue to attach a heavy-duty metal wire, found in craft stores, to the back of each piece of fabric. Then screw the wire into either end of the wall. Check first with the reception hall proprietor on the types of ...

LIGHTENING IS VERY IMPORTANT IN EVENT DECORATIONS

Event lighting is one of the most important mediums to bring the atmosphere to life. Special concepts of lighting can be used to transform any empty space into an elegant and visually appealing room.  Lighting can be used for practically anything. Some of the most common ways to use lighting would be for center pieces, buffets, floral arrangements, walls, stages, dance-floors, etc.   Lighting in an event determines how your guests see the room, and it improves and enhances the overall appearance of the ambiance. It can transform any empty space from an uninspired, lusterless room, into a magical wonderland. When selecting the lighting for your event, it is recommended to keep in mind these few things.  First, begin by asking yourself a few of these questions?  What features of the room would you like to highlight?  Which areas would you like to deemphasize?  What decor elements would you like to highlight? Can the d...
